⁃ At ages 2-3 months, you child can probably - show excitement by waving her hand and legs, turn towards sounds and smile at people, so will probably need: activity quilts, physical activities toys, toys with flashing light, music and hanging parts.
⁃ At ages 4-5month, your child enjoys watching things move, can recognize faces, and laugh and squeal, so will probably need: long activity toys, toys that make different sounds, toys that flash different colors of lights, ringing toys and hand held musical toys.
⁃ At ages 6-7 months, your child can stand while holding on to furniture and can crawl about so will probably need: action/reaction toys, crawlers and entertainment centers.
⁃ At ages 8-9 months, Your child’s movement is more deliberate, can catch a ball, can pass between objects, so will probably need: language developing toys, physical development toys and staking sorting and building toys.
⁃ At ages 10 -12, babies can walk if you hold their hand, can sit up without help, can babble, can mimic actions and can understand what you say to them. So they’ll probably need physical development toys, link together toys, outdoor toys and swing, musical toys and animal theme toys.
